We went to the Japanese Garden in Seattle for the Moon Viewing. Lanterns were strung up on trees and set up along the paths. The atmosphere was very romantic. Wooden flutes were playing as well the shamisen.
Koi fish gather around me:
Autumn is near as the waxing Harvest Moon rises:
Night descends and the ghostly, meditative moon dance begins over the pond:
The whole garden is lit up:
Candle-lit boats sail across the water:
Autumn is near. With the book release of HENGE coming closer, I think this fall will be a special one. Tomorrow is the cover reveal... Hint: there will be moonlight!
